A chance meeting on a beach wrestling some driftwood, a friendly fella offering to cut it into manageable pieces, then an exchange of services to say thanks.

The result, a cute brand and stationery assets created for the gentlemen in question – Matt Denton, who had just launched a local tree surgery and garden maintenance venture.

Not every job is worth £1000s commercially, or is months or years in the making. Sometimes, it's in and out of the studio quicker than John took to grab this wood off the beach. But each done with love, creativity and thanks nevertheless.
