Legal recruitment specialist Douglas Scott needed a brand to match their status in the legal recruitment sector. The rebrand coincided with their ten-year anniversary in the sector.
We came up with ‘Pinpoint positioning’, featuring a monogrammed map locator pin. The pinpoint communicates Douglas Scott’s highly targeted and ultra-efficient approach to placing accurately matched candidates to unique client needs.
As important as the new brand itself, a complete set of guidelines to ensure the brand’s integrity, wherever it is seen.
Following a successful rebrand for legal recruitment specialist Douglas Scott, the next step was to create a set of 3 dimensional low polygon worlds and used these as the backdrop for the Douglas Scott universe.
A fully integrated brand obviously required an onbrand website, with full job searching functionality leveraging Broadbean’s API for syndication. The website confidently showcases the brand and allows for the creative campaigns to fully integrate across mixed media. We developed a mobile specific version of the site serving up key content for the “job browsing commuter”. An intuitive website that reflects the new brand and Douglas Scott's status as an award winning legal recruiter.
To help launch the new Douglas Scott brand, we devised a 2-minute animation based on their vision ‘to be the first legal recruitment specialist to place a lawyer on the moon’. This space-themed brief enabled us to think creatively about portraying the Douglas Scott universe through the use of fly through sequences, a central globe and key messaging.
The space theme continued onto all marketing materials, prominently featuring key branding elements such as the rocket and globe, as well as the Douglas Scott pinpoint, to reinforce ‘pinpoint positioning’.
Douglas Scott needed a recruitment portal that was far more than a bog-standard online repository for jobs and CVs. They required a sophisticated web application that would eliminate blockages in the recruitment process, reduce client’s HR administration time, eliminate duplicate candidates, allow real-time status reporting for all hiring managers, and deliver tiered management information.
